Full Moon Manifesting
I started doing this journal page before I realized that I was really making it my monthly moon dreamboard again. I need to focus on making a few small goals for myself and then actually achieving them. I am good with to-do lists and so I need to start making them again this month. The ladder is of course to climb upward toward my goals and the birds are watching from their higher perch. The chalices are for lots of creative inspiration and the boat is to set sail toward my dreams. The coins are for staying earthbound/grounded but also for money and the Goddess stamp that I altered is for granting my wishes!
Tomorrow night's full moon is the herbal moon or dedicated to Airmid in our Celtic circle. I thought I would share a few nice herbal invocations too.
Be pleased
and grant that which we ask of you,
so shall we give thanks to the, Goddess, with due faith.
Hear, we beseech you, and be favorable to our prayer.
Whatsoever herb your power does produce, give, we pray,
with goodwill to all nations to save them
and grant us this, our medicine.
Come to us with your powers and howsoever we may use them,
may they have good success to whosoever we may give them.
Whatever you grant, may it prosper.
To you all things return.
Those who rightly receive these herbs from us,
please make them whole.
Goddess, we beseech you,
We pray as a supplicant that by your majesty you grant this to us.
We now make intercession to you and your powers
and herbs and to your majesty,
you whom Earth, parent of all, has produced and given as a medicine
of health to all nations and has put majesty upon you,
We pray you, the greatest help to the human race.
This we pray and beseech from you, be present here with your virtues,
for She who created you has Herself promised that we may gather you into the
goodwill of him on whom the art of medicine was bestowed,
and grant for health's sake good medicine by grace of your powers.
Grant us through your virtues that
whatsoever is wrought by us
through you may in all it's powers have good and speedy effect and good
success and that we may always be permitted with the favor of your majesty
to gather you into our hands and to glean your fruits.
So shall we give thanks to you.

Herbal Prayer
Gather the sacred herbs of summer, and make an offering to the spirits of the Earth.
Herbs sacred to the ancient Celts included: bog violet, bramble, chamomile, colt's foot, dandelion, elder, foxglove, ground ivy, heather, honeysuckle, mistletoe, mugwort, nettles, rue, sage, St. John's wort, and tansy.
Hold a small amount of
the herb you wish to work with in your left palm and cover it with your right
hand. Ask the spirit of the plant to tell you the magical and healing powers
that it has and learn how to develop an ongoing relationship with it.
Herb of summer,
Sun, and Earth,
Tell me of
Your spirit's work.
Herb of thunder,
Rain, and dew,
Show me how
To work with you.
Herb of Moon
And stars and wind,
Our partnership
Does now begin.

Oh I am laughing so hard about the lices! I meant that chalices are for creative inspiration not lices, although really maybe they are good for that too? LOL I fixed it so if anyone is wondering it's chalices yes. :)
